Our Halifax clients had always envisaged a beautiful and homely shaker kitchen — something cosy but not too old-fashioned. Our talented designer Lynne worked closely with them to achieve just the right balance of character and style. A clever combination of Pebble Grey and Porcelain tones brings wonderful depth to the room without detracting from the open, airy feel. The warmth of the Porcelain offsets the cool and elegant grey perfectly. The clean shaker-style furniture and muted palette establish a lovely, timeless atmosphere, just as our clients were hoping.
Our client had always dreamed of owning a gorgeous range cooker, and we were only too happy to oblige. The stunning Smeg range and bespoke mantle create an impressive focal point, introducing a charming touch of character to the space. The stylish Belfast sink and handy oak storage alcove also add a homely yet luxurious feel. Situated opposite the mantle, the spacious island enhances the symmetry of the design. Complete with comfy, much-loved bar stools, the island helps our client’s open-plan downstairs layout flow seamlessly.
This beautiful kitchen certainly delivers in terms of practicality. Our clients who love to cook wouldn’t have it any other way! A stain-resistant quartz worktop offered a much more durable solution to the natural marble our clients were after. The large Belfast sink accommodates all our client’s big pans and crockery. A dedicated plate storage solution makes another brilliant practical highlight. We even cut a hole in the worktop for the Alexa. A stunning trio of pendant lights and under-cabinet task lights complete this beautiful and highly functional kitchen. As you can see from the photos, this contemporary yet timeless interior delivers everything our clients hoped for and more. The only thing missing from the pictures is the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread!
