Leicht Handleless Kitchen with Dekton Worktops

This beautifully remodelled open-plan space was created for a family seeking a refined, modern kitchen that could support everyday living while providing a welcoming backdrop for gatherings. With panoramic garden views and an abundance of natural light, the design needed to balance clean architectural lines with warm, textural elements that bring comfort and character to the room.
At the heart of the scheme is a striking island wrapped in dramatic Dekton worktops, the veining flowing seamlessly over the waterfall edge. A sculptural wooden breakfast bar intersects the island, forming a statement seating area that naturally draws people together. The warm timber beautifully softens the minimalist cabinetry and complements the leather bar stools and surrounding furniture.
Across the main run, sleek handleless Leicht cabinetry in a sophisticated mid-grey preserves uninterrupted sightlines and enhances the calm, spacious feel of the kitchen. The long window above the sink opens the room to the garden, grounding the space in natural light and framing the outdoors as a key design feature. Tall units in a textured wood finish add warmth and balance the contemporary palette while housing high-quality appliances, including built-in ovens and a seamless downdraft induction hob. Together, these carefully chosen materials and features create a kitchen that is elegant, durable, and perfectly attuned to the way the family lives.
Detailing & Style

A Note From The Designer
The goal for this project was to create a space that feels calm and modern while still being welcoming. The Leicht system helped us keep the lines clean and introduce warmth through the timber details and Dekton surfaces. It’s a space designed for real family life; easy to use, considered, and truly theirs.
