Modern Handleless Kitchen with Dark Stone

This handleless kitchen was designed to achieve a crisp, contemporary look defined by contrast and clean architectural lines. The brief centred on creating a refined, material-led space with presence, while keeping the overall composition controlled and balanced. Light matt cabinetry forms a calm, streamlined backdrop, allowing the dark textured marble with subtle gold veining to become the focal point. The depth of the marble introduces richness and movement, adding a layer of drama without overpowering the room.
At the centre of the design, a substantial island anchors the layout, offering generous workspace and defining the kitchen within the open-plan setting. The walnut breakfast bar extension introduces warmth and natural texture, softening the darker marble and adding contrast through tone rather than colour. Full-height cabinetry creates a seamless wall of storage and houses the integrated oven stack, maintaining uninterrupted lines throughout. The finished result is a confident, contemporary kitchen shaped by strong material choices and precise detailing.
Detailing & Style
Light handleless cabinetry keeps the design clean and minimal, allowing the dark textured marble worktops with subtle gold veining to take centre stage. The matching upstand adds continuity, while the large island features a NEFF induction hob with integrated extraction to maintain uninterrupted lines across the space. A walnut breakfast bar extension introduces warmth and contrast, complemented by open shelving that softens the overall look. A Quooker tap adds everyday convenience at the sink, while the built-in oven stack is neatly housed within the tall units for a seamless, streamlined finish.
