Modern Concrete-Effect Handleless Kitchen

This contemporary handleless kitchen was designed to complement open-plan living, balancing clean architectural lines with warm, natural tones. The cabinetry features a textured concrete-effect finish in a soft taupe-grey, paired with light quartz-style worktops that keep the space bright and practical. The U-shaped layout maximises both storage and preparation space, while the peninsula creates a natural transition between the kitchen and dining area. It also provides informal seating, making it ideal for everyday use as well as entertaining.
Tall units house the built-in Bosch oven and additional storage, maintaining a streamlined wall line. The hob incorporates an integrated extractor, allowing the worktop run to remain uninterrupted and visually clean. Under-cabinet LED lighting enhances functionality while adding subtle depth to the textured cabinetry. Finished with light oak flooring and layered with natural textures, the overall aesthetic reflects a Scandinavian-inspired approach; minimalist, warm and designed for modern living.

“This project was centred around balancing warmer and cooler tones. The concrete-effect cabinetry introduces a cooler, architectural edge, while the lighter worktops and natural wood elements soften the scheme, creating a space that feels modern but still comfortable and inviting.”
